The Erasmus+ Program is one of the European Union’s flagship initiatives, designed to support education, training, youth, and sports across Europe. In Hungary, the Erasmus+ program is managed by the Tempus Public Foundation, which serves as Hungary's National Agency. This foundation plays a crucial role in coordinating Erasmus+ opportunities, ensuring that Hungarian students, educators, and organizations can access the program's benefits and resources to gain valuable international experiences.
What is Erasmus+?
Erasmus+ promotes cross-cultural exchange and educational mobility by enabling students, educators, and professionals to study, train, work, or volunteer in other European countries. Through these opportunities, participants enhance their skills, gain new perspectives, and build lifelong connections that foster unity across Europe. Erasmus+ offers programs for all age groups and backgrounds, encouraging both personal and professional growth through education and social engagement.
Tempus Public Foundation: Hungary’s National Agency for Erasmus+
The Tempus Public Foundation (TPF) was established to manage and promote the Erasmus+ Program in Hungary, making it possible for thousands of Hungarians to take part in these transformative experiences each year. As the National Agency, TPF is responsible for the administration, funding, and guidance of Erasmus+ activities in Hungary, including projects in higher education, school education, vocational education and training, adult education, and youth initiatives.
